Who is responsible for your information

Big Skies is currently operated by Ian Pruden, trading as Big Skies. Ian Pruden is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice.

Information we collect

When you make an enquiry, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, preferred means of contact, availability, information about the kind of experience you are considering, how you heard about Big Skies and anything else you choose to tell us.

We may also retain correspondence and notes from subsequent conversations where they are relevant to understanding or responding to your enquiry.

How and why we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange a conversation, understand whether Big Skies may be suitable for you and, where requested, begin shaping a potential adventure.

We process this information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and because we have a legitimate interest in managing genuine enquiries and developing our services. We will not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who processes it

Our website enquiry form is provided by Formspree. Enquiries are delivered to and stored within our Microsoft 365 email account. These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and data-protection arrangements.

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards made available by the provider and required by applicable data-protection law.

How long we keep it

We normally retain enquiry information for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact. We may keep it for longer where discussions progress, where the law requires it or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us for access to your information, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to provide it in a portable form. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Website cookies

This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Essential technical storage may be used where necessary to deliver the website or protect the enquiry form. If we introduce non-essential cookies in future, we will update this notice and request consent where required.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as Big Skies develops, including when the business is incorporated or we introduce new services. The latest version will always appear on this page.
