Time for the two of you.
We’ll take care of the detail.

An adventure shaped around you both, with the preparation and support in our hands.

How it works

How your adventure
takes shape

  1. A conversation with you both

Ian, one of the founders of Big Skies, will contact you and arrange a time to meet either face to face or on a call, and ideally with you both.

In advance of the call we will send you both a questionnaire, which we ask you to submit ahead of the meeting. During the meeting we will get to know you both and discuss what level and type of adventure could work best, and what you both want to get out of the experience.

After this we can assess whether or not there is a good fit between us and if it feels like we can work together.

  2. An adventure takes shape

We share an outline plan and cost with you, if needed we will work with you to refine and finalise everything.

At this point we will ask you both to commit to the process, and formally commission the adventure.

  3. Getting ready

With the adventure commissioned, we will then bring together all the necessary elements, routes, guides, accommodation, logistics, and contingency plans. We will also work with you both to make sure your fully prepared, from fitness, to kit fitting, and perhaps a half or 1 day mini-adventure.

  4. Out there, together

Ian along with Scott, and Jack, the other founders of Big Skies, handle the instruction, guiding, logistics and safety decisions, leaving you free to help each other through challenges whilst enjoying the adventure together.

  5. Bringing it home

Before heading home, Ian helps you reflect on what you discovered about each other and what you’ll carry into everyday life.
